Life is to be celebrated, and we just LOVE to host celebrations!  Whether it is a 40th birthday party, a baby shower, corporate events or a year end bash for colleagues...

We can host your function on our deck, or in a marquee in the garden.  Both settings offer a stunning relaxed outdoor vibe, with the feeling of being out in the county.  Our deck seats approx 80 guests, and our lawns are spacious enough to accommodate any size marquee. 

A third (indoor) option is the Field & Study hall, located close to the restaurant, with a seating capacity of 80 pax, and steps leading out onto beautiful shaded lawns.  All catering, bar service etc can be provided by River Cafe to functions taking place in the hall.

 Our function menus range from our decadent champagne breakfast buffet, to spit braais, canapes & cocktails, an elegant set menu, or our famous gourmet burger buffet. 

Our venue is available for evening functions too.  Your guests can sip cocktails as they watch the sun go down, and then enjoy a lantern lit dinner as they party into the night.
